Planning approved: major alterations to bungalow in Bournemouth

After a complicated planning application which involved negotiating with the planning officer, a refusal and subsequent second successful planning application, we are very pleased to have got this one over the line.


The project is for a self-builder who wanted to do something a bit different from the norm - and the rest of the street! We were happy to provide the designs for what is effectively a new-build house.


At nabneyplans, we generally handle straightforward planning applications in-house for projects such as an extension or a loft conversion. For more complicated or contentious projects we recommend using a planning consultant to work alongside us, submit the planning application and negotiate with the planning officer. In this case, we brought in Jess Glover at Pure Town Planning part way through the project who assisted with a supporting statement.
